I take it you are talking about US currency. Firstly I would change the size of the notes. A different size for each amount. That would make it alot easier for blind people. The second would make each value a different colour, that would help people, especially young children. I would put far more interesting pictures on the notes, maybe more up to date American icons/landmarks. I would keep the presidents as they are an important part of America's history. I would also keep the words, "In God we trust." All notes would be made out of polymer so they would last longer. Lastly I would drop one and two cent pieces. They cost a fortune to make and it's a waste of metal. Everything just gets rounded up or down to the nearest five cents.

It would look like the Netherland's money used to before the Euro. There was one bill with a yellow sunflower, there was one that had purple in it, and one that had blue in it. Very pretty bright money.
