whats ur hobbies??? and does hobbies are equivalent to passtime??

my hobbies are embroidery and gardening and listening to music. i cant be doing them all the time. Back at home in India, I was gardening on a very regular basis..the first thing I would do in the morning is to watch my roses bloom and then pick one that matches my dress. Embroidery was also a regular pasttime. Whenever I had some free time, I sometimes used to make my own patterns...sometimes even during my lectures if I dont like them. Once I have a pattern ready, I would do it as often as possible to complete it and wear it. But now since almost 2.5 years, I havent been able to do any embroidery or gardening as I am very occupied with my research and studies. Listening to music is one thing I do everyday...that actually keeps me going. I really need to listen to music for a couple of minutes each day to be relaxed. well all hobbies cannot be done everyday like my embroidery and gardening tha tI had to give up because I am here in the EU now. But I would love to do them again regularly at some point.
