Which do you prefer to drive automatic transmission or manual transmission?

I have already my own non-professional drivers license at the age of 18, now I'm turning 24 this March, but I can only drive our automatic transmission car, I have a hard time driving stick shift car, how I wish I can drive a stick shift someday. I don't want to limit myself on driving automatic cars only, do you think I can still learn to drive a stick shift?

We're actually having the same dilemma. I can also only drive an automatic transmission car but only within our village because I don't have a license yet. I've tried to learn how to drive manual transmission before but I really didn't get the hang of stepping on the clutch and gas pedals while attending to the road at the same time. For me, I think it's easier to learn how to drive automatic transmission first then after getting the hang of it, learn how to drive manual transmission so you'll only have to get used to on the pedals without worrying on getting used to the steering wheel.

You're right, driving MT makes me concentrate on the pedal instead on the steering wheel, maybe a lot of practice is needed to master the Manual transmission.

AT is always better and more easier to drive ,however driving experience is good when u come to mannual gear ,changing gears ripping the car doing a burnout has its fun in mauual gear

I'm sure you can learn to drive a stick if you have one to practice on. I don't have my license (I'm 32, lol) but have had my permit several times and know how to drive both. I much prefer driving an automatic in the city though as I find there is so much more to concentrate on when driving a standard. If I ever do go the whole way and get my license, I'll definitely be buying an automatic car.
