Have you ever met or gone to see the Dalai Lama?

I went to see one of his talks once, and I had the honor of having him wink at me. ;) I don't think it was flirtious, though. I think that I was just a sweet-looking teenager with a sweet smile on her face.
Does anyone else have any stories?

Well I have seen him only on TV news channel not had any opportunity to meet him in person.It is always good to listen to such enlightened persons.

i think you have been honoured indeed to have been in the presence of one of the truely great human beings on earth. The nearest i have got to how you must feel was about ten years ago when i was in Rome on a Thursday and had the great privallage of seeing Pope John Paul 11. This also was a majestic experience (he didnt wink at me, by the way)
