i see so many people asking on here for advice what do you think? should people ask for advice from people they dont know,or should advice be kept to family and friends, i have gotten some good advice from people all over the world, but i guess my pet peeve would be while playing in a game room with chat and people go on and on about a problem tends to ruin the chat for others. whats your ideas on this?

I think some of them have noone to talk to,so if they have been playing at a site for sometime, they kind of think of us as a family. Some might be lonesome, and need someone to talk to.You never can tell if you saved someone life who was very depressed, and just talking to someone in chat, might have helped.

i agree with you on that jetta because i have privatly made some friends that i have become very close to that i met in a chat room, and i guess i may have been a little harsh about how i feel, its just that sometimes i enter a room and complaints seem to go on forever

I think there is a time and place to ask for advice. This forum leans its self nicely to seeking input and opinions but a chat room or game room is not the place, I don't believe, to seek advice. The mood there is geared to fun so I don't think you would get that many real replies. Just my thoughts :)

yes i agree that a game room is usually a place to go relax maby after a long day but i see so many people going on and on about a problem and it goes forever tends to ruin the relaxing time i came to enjoy, one place that is good for this is pogo games

I think that many of the really sensational stories that you read here are just that; they are stories which are made up in order to get reactions and responses. I know that some people do not have a good support system of family and friends, but to bring some of these very personal situations into an international forum with over 70,000 members seems a bit strange. When I see this type of drama posted, I tend to stay away from it. Maybe I'm wrong, but anything that sounds as if it should be on Jerry Springer should not be on MyLot!

i so agree with you there and i to have seen many on here that i believe are made up as you say to get a response. if they seem genuine i would try to help, but most i to stay away from.
