My Favourite meal of the day is breakfast, eggs bennedict, hash browns, cereal, pancakes, crepes and let's not forget our favourite heart attack special, yummy 'bacon'. What do you like to have to start your day? I recently started a new job. Waking up in the morning is not as easy as before. I have to get out of bed 1.5 hours earlier. The thing is, I love breakfast. It's my favourite meal of the day. But I've been rustling with my new schedule. I haven't had time take make breakfast in the morning. By the time I get to work I am so distracted by my empty stomach I can hardly get anything done.

I too, like breakfast food, but things are so hectic that we usually eat cold cereal or get something to go, such as dry cereal in a baggie or a piece of fruit, etc. WE often eat our breakfast foods for dinner-and in fact we are having French toast and sausage patties tonight!

I can't tell you how often I've lived in the manner you wrote. Never have enough time. Bagging and running. Thank goodness I work in a place that has a production and prep. kitchen. Once in a while when the staff would see me limp in and out of their area they would feel sorry for me and prepare something. My favorite is "bacon". I know the risk, but have you ever tasted smoke house Italian hickory style bacon before? Some times my eyes would water as I eat it. So, good! Thanks for sharing. :-)

My favorite breakfast is oatmeal. It didn't used to be - but now I got used to it. It is good for you, quick and easy to make, has many health benefits, lower in calories, and it stays with you for a long time.

I like oatmeal too. I got used to it when I was pretty young. My mother always served my portion with a dolop of condensed milk swirld at the top. Mmmmm... lol I like the last part of your comment, 'it stays with you a long time.' I would like to add, Especially if you put in too much milk! Stay happy and thanks for the comment. ;-)

As a stay-at-home mom I have plenty of time to eat breakfast, but I prefer to just have a bowl of cereal. I love bacon and eggs, and will make them for lunch at least once a week, but it's too much work for the morning.

That is so true about it being 'too much work in the morning'. Every time I would try to make bacon and eggs by the time I'm done so is the time. There's still the getting ready part to go out the door, which takes for ever if you know your running late. :-) Thanks for the comment!

In winter, I love hot oatmeal with cinnamon and raisins. In the summer, I love all kinds of fruit and frozen fruit smoothies.

Hey, have you ever tried the Quaker Oatmeal assorted cereal packs. They're very good. The have sugar maple, cinnamon apple, cinnamon raisin, peaches and cream, and some others I haven't tried yet. I don't think I'll be getting into frozen breakfast foods any time soon. Plus since when is a frozen fruit smoothie considered a breakfast item? hmmm ;-) You're a tricky one. Thanks for sharing.

I don't usually get around to breakfast till around 10 in the morning. Then I just toast a bagel and that is me till mid afternoon. I kind of eat my meals backwards at times. Lunch at breakfast and breakfast for lunch. Strange I know but it really depends on my mood at the time.

Sounds like a life of luxury I could get used to, except for the sleeping in part. I wouldn't have a job to go back to if I slept in that long. ;-) Thanks for the comment!

breakfast is important thing that we need to start a new day. We had energy to do on the day from that breakfast. may be you can make breakfast at the night and keep it on refrigerator, on the morning you can put it on microwave.

Sometimes when I'm on the bus I'll see some people eating breakfast. Things from McDonalds, Tim Hortons, Coffee Time, etc... One morning a lady, took out a hard boiled egg and started to eat it. Now I love eggs, but this one smelled really bad. I looked around and saw I wasn't the only one wiggling my nose or plainly covering it. It got really bad when she started on her 3rd egg. Thanks for the comment. :-)

That's a good idea, I like milk, toast is not bad either. But I'm still having problems getting to it. Would be nice if I could eat while still asleep. "Kill two birds with one stone." :-) Thanks for the suggestions!
