Jet Blue catastrophe portends ominous future

Global warming, believe it or not, contributed to the paralysis of Northeast air travel recently when Jet Blue got its passengers stuck on frozen runways for hours. Note that we've had heat storms in summer and brutal cold waves in the winter, but the overall trend is record warmth. We will have many more Jet Blues in winter, many more devastating, farm-destroying (and hence food-destroying) heat waves in summer, and the occasional monster hurricane (or, in thios case this year, devastating tornadoes as occurred in Florida). We are paying the piper.
