Even the little things can be fun. Take for example our family trip to the wildlife ranch shown in this photo. A total of 4 zebras came up to our truck to greet us and be fed. It was so exciting and fun. But the problem is getting them away from the window.

i've seen many zebra's. my daughter and i go to the zoo often. we go to one place where you drive in the park and feed the animals from the car, so we've gotten to feed them a bunch of times. and yes it is hard to get them to leave after. we had all kinds of animals trying to get into the car.

that is pretty much what we experienced. You drive through the park and get to feed and pet these animals. It is difficult when they come in a big herd and block you in though. Kind of funny when it happens to others but when it happens to you, not so funny.

i saw the picture in your profile. that would be so amazing. just to be that close to a wild animal. i bet it was hard to get them away since you already fed them. they probably thought you had more food in your truck.

Actually, they knew we had more food in our truck. You don't want to roll their head up in the windw but sometimes you have to give them a little nudge. They do this all the time and with everyone. So if anyone ever asks if they think they could have the same experience I always say yes. Those guys love the little muchies that the park provides for your drive. The same goes for the wide variety of goats and deer.

The picture you put up of the two zebras is really neat. We have never been to the wildlife ranch out by San Antonio. Normally when we have seen animals it has been at the Houston Zoo. It is often the little things in life that we remember.

I highly recommend that you go. It is fabulous. The animals are so gentle and friendly. It is a great adventure. Take the time to go out there and I promise you will not be disappointed.
