Coca-cola pork chops

8 pork chops
salt and pepper to taste
1 cup ketchup
1 cup coca-cola
brown sugar
Place pork chops in a baking dish. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Mix the ketchup and coca-cola and pour over the pork chops.
Sprinkle with brown sugar
Bake, uncovered, in a 350F degree oven for 1 hour or until the pork chops are tender.
serves 8

oh my. I'm a big cola fiend and this just looks so good. I do up a ham dinner with a kind of coke gravy but never thought to try it with other meats. I can't wait to buy pork chops now. LOL. I'm always at a loss for what to do with them. I normally just dump a can of cream soup over top and let them cook that way but this recipe sounds so much better. Boy are my kids in for a surprise.

Yes I put cream of mushroom soup on My pork-chop and chicken even roast.

Most roasts you can cook using coca-cola. I will find you one that doesn't require sugar. I know I have another one for pork. I shall post it when I find it.

I was wondering could you use diet coke-cola?
I don't see why not, for him. I just would put any brown sugar, pop is already sweet.
