Please give me secrets of generating webtraffic

I have my site but with no traffic on it.I want to know how to generate traffic towards it. There is book on how to generate traffic but its very costly. Its prize is 7$. If any body has link of free ebooks please tell me about it.

Well it depends on what your site is but I would start attending forums and discussion boards that deal with your theme. Also create content pages that search engines like and you will get free search engine traffic. But you have to know how to use your keywords and they have to be the right keywords or you will get free traffic from people that don't want what you are selling, so keep your keywords on track.

Offffffffffffffffffff! I've typed some html tags and all my work(my response) has gone. I have to type it again. So you need optimizte your page for search engines (SEO).How to do this: -submit your site to web directories: as much as you can. -add META TAGS to your html code - see on my website about them http://webmaster.yeahost.com/tutorials.php -there are some tips you should follow some of them are there http://webmaster.yeahost.com/articles.php Don't expect so quickly to visible results ... only after more than a month the traffic on your site will increase and not always ... so be pacient Good luck!
