In our fast-paced society, do you think miracles still happen???

I've heard a couple of stories about the miraculous Mariane Monks which is situated at a remote baranggay in Cebu province. Simala, Sibonga, Cebu is the place to be exact. I was pretty overwhelmed with the huge crowd I saw when I got there last weekend together my boyfriend, his parents, grandmom, and aunt. I learned beforehand that this holy place is really crowded on Tuesdays and Fridays, also every 13th of the month. I believe these are the times when the devotees of Mama Mary do spare time despite their hectic schedule just to visit Her. And so I wasn't expecting that this place will still be flooded with devotees of all ages on Satudays. But it was! We fell in a long line, taking off our shoes and slippers, and waited for our turn to kiss the image of the miraculous Mother Mary. There were lots of "thank you" letters from the devotees posted on the glassed bulletin board expressing their gratitude to the great mother and healer. There also a number of those letters which come from the "board exam passers". And the souvenirs, yes, the once crippled devotees who were healed because of their faith to the Mother Mary offered their wheel chair and crotches, and there was even a wig from a devotee who undergone chemotherapy. Now, who says that because we are already in an information super highway and fast-paced way of living, miracles can no longer exist???

I think miracles happen every day. Some are big miracles and some are small, but they are still miracles. Unfortunately many people write it off as good luck or coincidence. The next time you almost drop the glass you are drinking from, or narrowly avoid a car accident take a moment to consider what just happened. We often don't see the miracles happening all around us.

well miracles always do happen to prove that God is merciful upon us and that his glory is seen in our lives... the very fact tat we live to see every moment is a miracle.. there are countless virus n bacterias which could easily kill us. but God is protecting us.. there are so many examples,we think somethin extraordinary should happen ,but sometimes we failed to recognise the precious moments we enjoy every second.

Miracles still happen but they are just not seen in te same ways they were many years ago. Miracles happend around all of us eery day. It just depends on how you look at things.

I think that miracles are happening all the time, both big and small. It's just that many people may be too busy to notice or may be so jaded and cynical that they don't accept the fact that something can be miraculous. I'm a firm believer in the fact that we see what we want and don't want to see, so if our vision becomes clouded by cynicism or disbelief then it is nearly impossible to see these miracles.
