Your opinion on drinking age in the U.S.?

Do you think the drinking age in the U.S. should be lowered? Or do you think 21 is good (or even too young)? I personally think that 21 is ridiculous. In Ameria, you're only allowed to drink if you're 21 and up but an 18 year old "man" can hold a gun and go to war... Doesn't sound very rational, now does it..? Well whatever your thoughts on this topic may be, feel free to let me (and all others who read this) know! :)

I think 21 is too high. I live in England and the drinking age is 18, which is more reasonable.

we've been saying that for years. it doesnt seem to matter. in other countries you can drink at 18 or sometimes 16. However in the US I think 21 is good because we would have many more problems than we already do. things would get out of hand. it would keep the 21 and youger from hiding it and stealing it but then the drinking age would get younger and younger. many teens around 14 years old already drink occasionally. that's way too young. it may be ridiculous in some cases but in America it's worth it to be a bit older.

Wel I am in the UK, and must say was horrified when I raised that the legal age in the States was 21! It seems way too old, especially, as you say, people can arry, and go t war, at a younger age. Definately wrong I would day!
