Pregnancy Ages

hey there, no age doesn't mattter, people shouldn't jusge because there not the ones paying for or looking after your child so just ignore them! i was 17 and a half when i had my baby, im 19 now, 20 at the end of this year and my baby will be 2 in the nect few months! :o) oh and ive stopped now yes, this is my first, only and last child!

People used to have kids at your age all of the time. I had my son when I was 28. He is almost 6 months old and I will be 29 in a couple of months. Sometimes I wish I had him a little earlier, but the timing was just never right. But my mom had me when she was 19, so to her, I am way past my prime child bearing years. In fact, when she was my age, I was going on 11. I think it is a matter of personal choice.My younger sister is 23 and has a 4 year old. My mother actually told me she wished I had started earlier because she wants a granddaughter and she doesnt think my sister could handle another kid. Like I am on my deathbed or something. I think as a trend people are waiting longer, but it really doesnt matter as long as you are ready and have the means to take care of them.

I was also a young mom. I had my first when I was 18. My second was born when I was 22 and then my youngest was born when I was 26 (almost 27). Just ignore the nasty comments, it's no ones business anyway. My great grandmother was 15 or 16 when she had her first child. I have actually enjoyed being a young mom because I have the energy to keep up with my kids.

I am 23 and just had my first child 4 months ago. I think I'd like to have one more in another 2 years or so and then that's it for me. I love being a mom and don't think age has anything to do with being a good parent. There are many advantages to being a young mom. My parents had me very late in life and I worry about them all the time now that they're getting older. We're very close and I can't imagine my life without them. I do wish I knew people my own age with children though. None of my friends have kids yet so we don't have much in commen anymore. Sometimes it's a little lonely but, hey, who has time for a personal life when you've got kids anyway, right?!
