It has been a teaching from the Christianism to love your enemies. Just last Sunday, during the homily, the priest discussed about this topic,"Love your enemies". But he did emphasize that it's not only the enemies per se that we are ought to learn to love, but also the unlovable ones. There came a time when once in his life, he was to baptize a child diagnosed with hydrocephalus. And seeing that the mother herself wants her child to still live despite of her physical condition and appearance. The priest entailed this example that we, Christians, are also ought to love those who are hard to love. I know it's so difficult to love your enemies. It's not even easy to forgive someone who caused you very much pain. But with the homily that the priest told us last Sunday, it was quite something that really brought into my mind, wasn't it?

it's in the bible, yes. however, it's easier said than done. how can you love someone who hurts you repeatedly? how can you forgive someone who does not even show any remorse about the wrong things he/she had done? it's hard, but it's not impossible. people who have lots of love in their hearts would agree. coz it's only love that enables someone to forgive seventy seven times seven, it's only love that enables someone to offer the other cheek. it's a call for christians, and it's definitely a challenge.

I like your comment, dear. It's definitely true that it's easier said that done. But i think in the billion people in this world, there's still one or two who can afford to love their enemies intently. Like what you've said, there are still people with lots of love in their hearts.
