Wats that yellow star ??????

I m wondering about a sudden thing i just observed, just a minute ago, i posted a discussion and when i submitted it after tagging,i saw a yellow star with an '8'written in its center..
Wat is that, is it some kind of rating that mylot gives, if it is then is '8' a good rate ??
Please tell me and if it really is something like rating then wat is ur rating ???
very curious to know.......

I din't konw but I have had a yello star for a mouth or more so i think it has somting to do with how other rate you with + or- sine on your answers you give

It's the quality rate of your posts that you have made on mylot. 10 being the highest and one being the lowest. Me and you both have 8, which is above average. So it isn't bad at, actually pretty good. Hope I answered your question
