Don't you feel that that responsibility should be shared by both the women and man in the relationship . Especially if the women also works a 9 to 5 like her husband?

Yeah they should the responsibility but if a person does not know cooking what does he do.The cooking thing is not of great importance if the guy knoews to cook. If the gul also goes to work mean then they should lead a joint family with any of their parents and it will be helpful to theirkids too.

Who says that you two would have to eat hotel food. With all of the instant/quick fix dinners and meals out there today the choices are vasts and not as bland.

i live in west africa were the average head of the house settles down at night after having a really delicious meal prepared by the wife.We place high emphasis on a girls ability to cook local food and from her childhood cooking various type of dishes would form part of her learning process. Its not that the husband might not know how to cook but we believe the sole responsibility of the wife lies in performing her statutory role in the house of which the main one of feeding the family.so its definately important
