A Rash of Disappearing Friends

Your not alone. It happened to my husband he went in and deleted someone he didn't add and lost everyone.

tom posted a bulletin a few weeks ago about this he said he locked peoples accounts that he has detected phished check out his blogs

I didn't have any trouble with mine but I haven't checked it in a while, I was into the whole MySpace thing for a while but there are way too many strange folks there ... and for me to say someone else is strange ... well, that is saying something because I am pretty out there myself LOL.

If you are lucky, all you have to do is change your password. You may have to delete your account to srart over. I had to do that and it sucked. Good luck.

Yea it's that "phising" virus going around. Tom always post bulletins about it so just be on the look out there. I did the same thing about a week or 2 ago. I went to 'edit friends' and realized that more than half my friends list was 'deleted profiles' which were virus phising hackers. So I had to erase all them and then realized all my friends were gone. I had about 300 friends from school on there and now I have to re-save them all back. It's a hassle. But yes the same thing has happened to me. Just be aware that it can STILL happen. So be sure to check your 'edit friends' section often. You don't want anyone getting into your myspace and stroking up a stupid virus. Also, be sure to change your pasword every now and then.
