Ingrown Toenail

Has to be the most painful thing I've ever had to live with and the operation was even worse. I spent 5 months trying to cut it out and keep it under control before I knew I couldn't stand the pain anymore and had to go to the doctor to get it out. Had 6 needles in my big toe to put it to sleep before I was cut open but still felt nearly everything and it makes my blood run cold just thinking about it. Have you ever had one and how did you cope?

I have not had an ingrown toenail or fingernail, so I don't know what the pain is like for it.
However, I do have a bunion on each foot, but I am sure I am not going to get them cut out - way too painful.
