Private school vs. Public school

I always went to a private school but my children have gone to both. I think the private school was just as good in many ways as the public one. I think it depends on the school and the teachers really. There are some really bad private schools around also....

going to a private school for too long, is bad because it is not enough like the real world as public schools, however I think it is good to go to private schools because there are usually better teaches and smaller classes which will lead to better learning. public school does have more choices because they are usually larger and can offer more classes, but it will not be as individualized as a private school

we chinese students always go to public schools while there is few private school meanwhile , private school usually costs more money.. i am now a college student in Peking Transportation University (which of course is a public school) & majored in the Science of Information and Computing . it's a very good subject , i like it so much r u a college student??? what about your life???

my kid went to a public school for the majority of his life, but recently switched to a christian private school and i think, and he will agree with me on this, that both experiences are good to have. i do not think that being in either school for your whole life is good, i believe that experiencing both is a very good idea. there are many pros and cons to each situation
