Where's your favorite vacation spot?

My favorite vacation spot is somewhere with a lot of history. In 2000 I traveled to Egypt and that was by far, the best historical place that I have been to. Of course, all places have a history, but this one place was amazing. Where else can you find pyramids from ancient times and a bustling city not even a mile away? I also love beaches and snow, yet somewhere with a rich history always takes the cake. Where do you like vacationing and why?

my favorite vacation spot is the farm of my grandfather. it's my favorite spot because my cousins and i have a lot of childhood memories there. and aside from that there are alot of fruit bearing trees, which you could easily reach.

I'd LOVE to go to Egypt! I love vacationing where there's lots of history too. I've been to Stonehedge and the Anasazi ruins in the four corners area. I love history, and archiology. I kind of wanted to be one, except that I'm allergic to insects!
