Lets face it, each one of us must worship some kind of God and to some of us, we worship our God. It could be material things like Cars, boats, planes and Trains. it could be our House, Land or our Money. Anything! On the other side of the coin we can see that there are thousands of religions and one wonders why so many? Could it be that language, lifestyle, place, personal beliefs and all such like has contributed to them. I would like to hear your thoughts on them.

I don't worship any type of God, material possession, nothing. I could give two sh!ts less if everything in my life went away, and I would be perfectally content to get to the end and find out that it is NOTHING! So your assertion that we all worship something would be false as I worship nothing nor noone. All of these religions are nothing more than window candy for a deep spiritual truth. That deep spiritual truth is the Golden Rule "Do onto others as you would have done onto you.". This "rule" is the founding cornerstone for all religions and the rest of religion is just window dressing to fit a personal style or custom. This style or custom can be personal (interpretation), ethnic (regional local), or fanciful (wacked out and needing their voice heard). Well I hope that this has helped to answer your question so have a great day and a better tomorrow!!

Why there are so many religions? Well, because we have our own preference or thinking for what fits our faith. Every person is different and every person has different needs. So some choose for that kind of religion because he thinks that religion will help her to go to heaven. Like the Catholic, before it is just the only Christian religion. Then later some protestants make their own religion for they think that there are so many teachings or practices that they don't like with it so they form their own religions.
