I also believe that natural vitamins and minerals have roles to paly for good health and longevity. I said and must emphasize the word NATURAL because scientific evidences proved that synthetic preparations and even some extracted components don't work the same way as naturals do. Example if you want vitamin C, you can take guava (already available in capsule form) or any other encapsulated fruits in capsule form. Or better yet, eat right amounts of veggies and fruits to get your daily needs of vitaminerals. Take your vitamins now.

I do not usually take vitamins. I look for foods with these vitamins in them and eat them. Zinc, Magnesium, Vitamin C... are all claimed to be good with fighting colds and flus. I have witnessed with Zinc that it does help. Vitamin C, helps too for me in the winter as I do not get those nutrients like I do in the summer from eating my clovers. - DNatureofDTrain

I dont take any vitamins but i drink enough water. It is said that if we drink enough water, we can stay away from many diseases. Just few days ago i read somewhere that we should drink 1.5 litres of water as soon as we wake up in the morning. One hour before and after drinking water you shouldnt eat or drink anything. This is enough to keep yourself away from diseases :)
