When you order pizza, how many times would you let the phone ring before you would determine that they were either too busy to answer the phone, closed, or just don't want your business? If you get annoyed and hang up the first time do you call back? How many times?

i would wait for three or five rings before i hang up. then i will call another pizza store because it's only mozzarella pizza that i'm going to order and it's available on any pizza stores here. i'm not going to get frustrated because i still can eat anything aside from pizza.

I let it wring about 8-10 times. I know they may be busy but I still want my pizza. I will actually be the one to sit there and call back in 10 minutes. If they do not answer by the 3rd time I call then I know they are not open and I will just call another pizza shop. If I want pizza then I am determined to get my pizza however I can.

I'd let it ring 7 or 8 times then hang up and try again a few minutes later. If it was still busy, I'd try another location or maybe different food altogether.

we neverorder through the phone, we always use the internet. we have 5 or 6 pizza places locally that take online orders, and generally, they deliver faster than the places that only have phones.

I will let it ring and ring, if I want pizza than I will for it. It takes me forever to decide what I want to eat so once I do make up my mind I don't want to figure something else out just because they don't answer the phone right away.

I let it ring about ten times, if there's no answer I call one of the delivery guys on their cell phone. We order pizza about three times a week at the shop (and I don't eat any of it LOL) so they know our usual order: 1 large pepperoni, 1 large sausage, 2 Italian hoagies and a super Grand Slam salad for me. Total cost: $20.00 plus the tip for the driver. I guess the owner knows that we order all the time so he made it simple on everyone and just charges up one price for any two pizzas, any two hoagies and a salad. Wow, I got WAY off track on that one LOL The short answer: 10 rings

When ordering pizza through the phone, I allow it to keep on ringing until I hear the busy signal which says tut-tut-tut, or until it stops with the closing words 'try again'. After 5 or 10 minutes I'd give it another try. Still if it's to no avail, I'll try another pizza delivery outlet. This usually gets me to place my order for one.
