Would you be willing to marry someone from marriage website?

Marriage is one of the most important decisions of life.
With the increasing rate of divorces that are taking place today,one is even more careful in choosing anyone as a life partner because no one I'm sure wants to go through the trauma of divorce and the related problems that arise due to it.
Keeping this in view would you marry a person whom you found on one of the various websites that showcase people willing to marry? Or would you rather prefer someone from your city and social circle?
Do you think its a good trend? Would you encourage your friend to do so?

well i had a fren that married with someone he knows from marriage website and they are happy all this year with a kid, and i also married with someone i know and love through internet but not marriage website. actually, it is what you called fate. if fated that you're gonna fail in your marriage, you will do the best you can to save but it still the end. so, i dont know whether i would encourage my fren to do but its up to your heart to choose who you gonna love. :D

Some things are just unavoidable.I believe a lot in destiny and I would leave such a thng to destiny.If a divorce is written in my destiny then I will have it no matter how or where I found that guy,be it through net or through relatives.Though I would personally despise marrying someone from such a website,I personally would say "marraiges are made in heaven" so can't help if luck has that in store for me :-)

Just as you say marriage is a heavenly propostion and it should not be made child's play. I think marrying someone just by contacting them over the internet is not the right thing to do. As you said the divorce rate is increasing day by day and it is all the more important that people should discuss and analyze well before marrying.

I would be willing to marry anyone (if we had a connestion) even someone over seas... I'm so lonely :(((
