Haunted Houses

Twice in my life, I've lived in a house that was haunted. Neither one really scared me, it was just like I was sharing the house with someone I couldn't see. I think they must have been friendly (and sometimes humorous) ghosts. One of them used to pull up the blankets on my children's beds to cover them at night--even on hot summer nights. I never did tell the kids that it wasn't me when they complained..... The second one was addicted to turning lights off and on. I was ironing a shirt one night and the lights went off--I actually heard the light switch click! I finally got mad because I couldn't see what I was doing, so I yelled at it to turn the darn thing back on--I heard "click" again and there was light! That one played lots of tricks on my whole family. Do you have a story about ghosts or did you live in a haunted house? I love stories about ghosts!

well we had one in our building when I was living with my parents. Infact my parents are still living there. They never told me when I was young because I was alone at home most of the time as both my parents worked. Mostly we just hear doors being closed or someone hammering on the ceiling. When we asked the person who lived above us they said it wasnt them and they thought it was us. Apart from that we have heard children running around and playing but all the people who have lived in the flat above us have never had children. At one point something used to fall in our house at exactly 11:15 every night but that stopped after a while. It used to be creepy at times but mostly we were just used to it.
