Why do veins look green when color of blood is red?

Blood is only red if it's been oxygenated. It's blue if there is no oxygen present. The greenish color you see is the blood that has already delivered its supply of oxygen to the organs and muscles and is headed back to get some more. The blue color of the blood when seen through the skin can sometimes look greenish.

Is it? this is a new thing for me and do you rhink that because of blood which has already gioven its oxygen to the organs and muscles..is it so? maybe your last thing looks to b etrue that blue color blood when seen throught skin looks green...just got to verify this.

Hmm..I must have royal blue blood in my veins as mine are blue. LOL
