If you are given an boiled egg and a raw egg..how will you identify each?

Suppose you are given one boiled egg and the other one raw egg and how will you identify between the two here? i heard of many ways to identify between the two and what about your view here? share your views....

You can make an egg spin when it has been boiled. Raw eggs will wobble.

Yes, this is what ia lso think as boiled eggs might spin and that too only in one direction and better to try it at home once and see it myself isn't it? but, other tahn this do you also think there might be some otherway's here? Anyway's, thanks for responding

The boiled egg should spin easily if you spin it. That is the only way i can think of for now. Take care Alienstar.

I have been asked this question when i was actually at 15 yesrs old and i was not able to answer that and many of them answered to that but i was not taking things seriously as i forgot who answered that or what was that and i also think your answer is something near i believe and boiled egg spins only 1 direction i believe...is it not? A boiled egg spins only one way? I haven't heard about that. How about the egg spins 2 ways, the right way or the wrong way? ha!

As the raw egg spins, the more dense mass is drawn away from the center and toward the edge (centripital force; like going around a turn in a car). This causes a higher moment of inertia and a slower spin. This does not occur in the boiled egg.

Ok so....you mean that by spinning egg you can make out wheteht it is a boiled egg or raw egg isn't it? starngely all of them have come to the same conclusion heer and i just wonder here whether there still any other solution to find out or not? Anyway's, thanks for responding

Hmmm that spinning thing is interesting - and makes total sense. I always thought you had to shine a light through the egg or something. Now I know better :)

Yes, it seems that one can identify teh two eggs only by spinninga ndit's quite interesting part isn't it? although i was also looking into other possibilities here but sadly no other solution ahs come out till now... Anyway's, thanks for responding
