As we all know, black bodies absorb maximum heat isn't it? but, have you ever thought why do we wear black glasses in spite of knowing that they absorb maximum heat? any views here?

BLACK ABSORBS HEAT BETTER THAN WHITE OR SILVER
WRONG!!
OK, you may think this is REALLY pedantic but.....
Black absorbs heat RADIATION better than white or silver.
heat is transferred by convection, conduction and radiation...it's only the radiation which is absorbed by black colour!

I wear sunglasses to protect my eyes from the glare of the sun in the summer. They don't absorb heat but they do protect your eyes

Wearing glasses will protect eye's isn't it? even i also wear glasses on different occassions like working on computer, i wear anti glare glasses and while driving wearing glsses will prevent outside particles directly hitting the eye's isn't it?
