Actually I Just came back from a trip, with my boyfriend. Ok, during the trip he took some pictures, etc., and just this morning the pictures have been printed, and so that's it, I saw our picture and realized how fat I've become. I've gained weight eversince I started to become addict in computer, I am always sitting in front of the computer, after eating, sitting again. Then my guy told me, you're gaining weight! I don't know if that's an insult or he just cares about me. Well, it's a bit offensive though but I think it can serve as a motivation to lose weight.

My husband would never tell me this only because he knows how obsessed I would become about it. Guys don't think like women though. He may have just said it just b/c he noticed. He's probably just thinking like a guy. He probably thinks if someone said it to him it would be no big deal but to a girl it's a very big deal. The pictures more than his words would give me motivation. Don't take it to heart though. I'm sure he didn't really mean anything by it. Good luck!

No, those are words no man can say. In fact I think it's a law written many, many years ago... "Thou shalt not whisper a word about thy woman's spreading." Yep I am pretty sure it goes something like that. LOL Honestly, it hurts to realize, but I do appreciate when hubby tells me what I need to hear. He knows I don't want to be over weight and if I don't do anything until I reach that point, it's going to be harder on me. So I don't mind when he drops the hints. Of course since I am the cook here, we all go on diets when I do. :o)

It would definately depent on how it was said.Sometimes we just make a statement about something without even thinking about it or meaning any harm by it. At least he didn't say something like"man you are getting fat"....now that would have been a insult. He most likely loves you just the way you are....even with the extra pounds. In this case it could serve as a motivation.....would be nice to hear him say"wow you look really sexy!".
