Are you a Weirdo?

LOL I am known as the local neighbourhood wierdo and I love it. I have a large gargoyle in the front garden and other assorted dragons, bats and gargoyles in and around my house. I'm a goth so I'm used to being called a wierdo and creepy, but whatever, wierd is defined, I like it. :-)

i gets call a weirdo all the tyme, i dont take it in a bad way i actually take it as a compliment, i look at like i'm different then others, i dont want to be the same as everyone else!

Yes, i have often been called a wierdo, I don't mind I'm just me, if people want to judge me they can. I have no idea what it means.

Everyone has been called a weirdo at least one time in their life and its just a name. Sticks and stones may break my bones but names will never hurt me.

I think weird and creepy are two different things. i would call my friend weird if she did something odd. like feel asleep with the keyboard stuck to her forehead or something like that. but CREEPY.. well that's like.. Older man stalking me and trying to take picture of me sort of deal. lol. weirdo is good but creepy is... well not good at all in my books :P Weird is good, because normal is BORING.

Weird is a cood thing in my mind. Weird is out of the norm, different, personal. People that just blend in with everyone else are far less interesting than people that let their peronality show. Weirdos dare to make their own choises, they dare stick out in a croud, they take a stand and show it. Creepy is another story. To me that is something not just out of the ordinary, bur scary or disgusting. I'd be ok with beeing called a weirdo, but I'd hate it if people thougt I was creepy. Unless of course I tried to disgust someone..

I think "weird" is a relative term, it just means that someone is different from you or does things in a way you wouldn't do it! It wouldn't bother me too much to be called weird, I am a little flaky, after all.

I have no idea why they say you are wierd, but at least you have been noticed. It would be much worse if they called you insipid. At least you must have a colourful character. Take care!

I am a funny weird person. The only person who calls me a weirdo is my Aunts. They are weird to and funny. So I don't take offense of them calling me this cause its a joke between me and my family. If anyone else called me a weirdo I would take offense and not sure if I would be friends with them if they didn't change their tune.

The person who called you creepy - were they from your country? Or was this someone online or someone who was originally from a different country that you? Sometimes if people are unfamiliar with another's customs, they deem them to be creepy or weird. Personally, I rejoice in all my oddities. That is what makes a person special or unique. So the next time someone says you are weird, just say, "You better believe it!"

the thing is not what they think but what you think if you think you are just fine and not weird then don't mind and if you are weird and you love your self and is happy the don't mind.

i was always considered on the fringes..just because i dressed differently and didn't want to act like the catwalk girls or wasn't into high fashion..wasn't into the music the others were into etc..wierdo is someone who is different from the norm of the society we live in..i don't care any more as i have carved out my own little niche in the world and feel i have a right to be here as much as britney spears or any one else out there..so i have been called it many times..but i don't take any notice..i am me..whoever likes it they can like it..they don't? well i don't care either..i suffered too much abuse and discrimination..i have now become immune to it..

I have been called weird many times and I have learned to take it as a compliment. One friend called me unique and interesting. To me, that is a nice way of saying you are weird. But, like I said, I love being different.

weird is not such a bad word.. weird means there is something different in want you are doing prior from what he/she doing. take for example i have a friend who mixes his spag very well before eating.. me, i dont... i just eat it as is without mixing the sauce.. so for him its weird.. but for me its normal.. do you get what im saying? =) we are weird in some ways.

LOL, welcome to my world. I don't take weirdo as being a bad thing. SOme people are just sticklers for what the NORM is. I would rather be someone unique vs. the typical gal next door. I think weirdo means different and creepy is psycho.

I have been called a weirdo, and i think it's a compliment most of the time. Obviously it depends on the attitude of the person who tells you so....a word can be taken differently depending on how you say it and when.
