ofcourse it is nothing to feel there like that.it is an open to all website and we cannot expect it to be personal having privacy.It is made to meet new frends knowing each other just through website and to get old friends .I hav got so many frends speciollymy classmates whom i was notin contact ,its really nice to get those people in their related communities.It has many benefits but ofcourse having demerits like privacy and other things.so we hav to adopt those things,its better to do so.

I am not having any idea abt this but i try to answer this yes its true people make feel us getting more privacy in orkut no need to worry abt those guys

hey hi, welcome to mylot first, well i am active very active member of orkut, mostly for all the day i will be tehr on orkut,well about scraps and privacy matter, theer is no privacy with scraps, so one sould not discuss any personal things with scraps, teher is another faciltiy of personal messages we can use that for personal things,infact i found my all buddies there,well orkut,Its such a good community which making all buddies gather together, morever most beautiful thing is we can find our old buddies there, i like orkut for this reason,!!!

no privacy at all in orkut........many of ma frnds asked me a question on Feb 14th........"Did u propose her????"........that scrap was embrasing........many of my relatives were able to see that scrap n they were asking me bout that............no privacy at all........

While scraps are public, messaging is private and you/your friends need to decide what to use to communicat etc. Scraps are more for fun and stuff. Also you can delete your scraps and also scraps that others write for you. Make sure you never give your mobile number/email id etc on scraps

yaaa its not good becuase some scraps are our personal but now what can be happen nothing So, make friends on mylot and leave orkut

You are absolutely right...there is no privacy in orkut except at a very low level...i can go to other's scrapbook n can delete my own messages if i want to...n can read all the scraps of others posted on it.... it might give us the ability to read our messages but not the others...
