When I was a little girl I wanted to be a singer or a dancer, I took Dance for 14 years, and Sang and took lessons all my life! But gave it all up to get married and have kids. Everyone who has ever heard me sing says you should've been a singer, I still wish secretly for it? what about you? Are you what you wanted to be as a child?

I wanted to be a writer, I've gone some way to achieving that since I do lots of that these days. Now I just need to work out how I can paid a decent sum of money to do it. ;)

ever since i was a child, i've always wanted to work in an office, facing a computer. that dream later on evolved, and as i was growing up, it widens and soon, i wanted to be a very successful businesswoman. and then i took up business management when i was in college, but after i graduated, i had to be employed so that i can earn and stand on my own. i still don't have money to build my own business right now, but i'm striving hard so i can fulfill my dreams. my goal is to build a business empire before reaching the retiring age. i know i sound too ambitious, but having a great dream motivates me. and nothing could stop me from reaching my ultimate goal in life.

When I was really young (before 13) I wanted SO BADLY to be the next Karen Kane (ballerian)..I thought she was the cats meow!! I took ballet, I practiced all the time at home, watched all the performances on tv etc....then when I got kicked out at 13 I didnt knwo what to do until around 15 or so and I decided I wanted to be a counselor for abused children, teens and street kids etc....I was instead a stripper which in a sense was sort of close to my goal considering I WAS dancing and I DID counsel ppl at times (dancers, staff and customers LOL) then when I retired I owned my own biz for two yrs but closed it when I moved to the U.S.....now though, I'm completely retired and happy about it...I started boycotting work a couple yrs ago LOL

When I was five I wanted to dance too. My mom signed me up for ballet, it only lasted until she left me in class by myself. I started crying and refused to go back, this was the end of my dance career :) When I got a little older I decided I wanted to be a nurse. I don't know when I forgot that dream, I only know I recently remembered it. I am now in school working on becoming the nurse that I have dreamt of being since I was young.

I wanted to be a writer or teacher, but spent 25 years working in a factory to support my family. But now they are on their own and I have begun doing some professional writing! You don't have to give up your dreams, sometimes they just get put on hold for a while. Have you ever considered singing in a church or local club?
