when you here a foreign language..in poetic form and in the form of a song..which one sets you off?
i think i am on another planet man..i am learning this song in mandarin..but it has poetry in the beginning and i am melting away on the keyboard as i write..i don't drink os smoke mary jane or ciggies lol but i feel like a drunken whatever..
i have asked hubby to translate my poetry into mandarin and when he says it back to me..i die..anyone else as mad as me when they hear music or poetry in whatever language? and if so which one? can you post a poem or song that makes you drunk?

...yes I have felt this way.. I think it is (for me anyway) because your mind does not understand the words, so the heart is lifted higher than it is, even usually lifted by music.. like your favorite lifting music during meditation.. or like church when everyone's mind and heart is fixed above while singing.. And like the great southern African American churches where you can't help but dance... Yes, it's wonderful. It's a gift from God.. And with the foreign songs, it easily comes through.. I used to get it also, in the outdoors, just before something neat (big, usually spiritual) where it was like being hit with a sort of bolt or stream of light, and almost feeling like falling straight backward.. Yes I call it drunk on the spirit..
