How many of your remember your first job? I sure do. I was a waitress at the age of 18 and that is where I met my husband. I guess things do always happen for a reason!

I worked at a Dunkin Donuts when I was 16. I liked that I worked with a lot of my friends and we got free coffee while we were working. Saved a lot of money! lol

my first job, I was 13 and my parents just got divorced.. my mom said we needed money, so I went to work for some shady guy who drove me around in a big van , dropped me off at the start of a neighborhood with a HUGE box filled with different types of candy & stuff. Then I went door to door selling it. I got $1 per box I sold. They charged $8-$10 per box... it was awful

My first job was being a janitor at a school. The pay was alright. I was making 20 cents more than my friends.

I was also a waitress and that is where I also met my (FIRST) husband, he was the store manager. I ended up working for that company for 6 years!

My first volunteer job was for Parks and recreation. I was basically a gopher/secretary. My first paying job was at Dunkin Donuts and I just loved it. I ereally enjoyed the regualrs who came in for coffee every day. I got along well with the peopel I worked with and the hours were great for me. I started as a counter person but did move up to donut maker. that was fun. I really enjoyed making the donuts. Frsoting them and filling them with jelly and stuff was just a blast. The only reason I quit was because I was going off to college. Of course this was back when they were free standing and on their own. Now they are tucked in with Baskin Robbins and the one were I worked is now a check cashing place. Oh well, I do have good memories of it, and that is what really counts for your first job.
