Higher pay for stronger articles

Has anyone else received a very high offer with the note that everyday AC chooses some of their strongest articles to give an above-average offer? I got a $50 offer, I was amazed! They really do pay off hard work, sometimes it is just difficult to get that reward.

I haven't submitted anything for a few months because life just got in the way. I have noticed that they have amde some changes and It seems like people are liking the changes. It is nice to know that they really do pay some high amounts for an article, not that I really doubted it because they have always paid me when I submitted.
I think that this type of payment will help make sure that the articles are quality since people will be trying to get the high offer.
Congratulations to you for getting the high offer and I hope they continue to value your contributions.

That is fantastic. You will have to let us all know when the article appears on the board. I will have to read it and see what it is you are doing right, lol. No, really, that is great and congratulations. I am getting ready to submit a few articles myself, so I hope I will qualify for their "bonus". Thank you for sharing that news with us.

My mom says it's always best to write what you know most about, and it did pay off (though oddly, I only got like $8 for the next article on the same topic).

I went over and read your article, which was very good. I think that it is hard for those of us without someone in the military to truly understand what it is like to have a loved one go overseas during wartime. That's what makes your article so compelling; we get to see inside that world for a little while. Congratulations on making so much! I would be estatic if I were you!

Not yet, as I tried alot to make my mark in associated content I even contacted with you regarding this web portal but as you and all of the myLot-ions says that associated content only pays for the citizen's of US! It makes me kind of depressed thinking about are we not talented? or we are too lost? I think no one believes that we the `pakistani's` are either hard working and sincere but as associated content did not think like that we can not do anything except not to dis-heart our selves from only this web portal as many web portals are still paying to `pakistani's`. I pity you associated content :) Anyways, thanks for the discussion where I expressed my feeling about associated content and it's owner. The discussion is totally appreciateable! This was discussed on another thread about Associated Content. They do let non-Americans post articles but they don't pay them, and that is because of the complications with US tax. I don't think that they are discriminating; they are just trying to simplify the tax situation for their business.

I haven't received the big $50 offer yet - it's still something I'm aspiring to. Congrats on your offer!
I read your articles and can definitely see why they felt it was worth a top choice honor. You write about a unique experience that can't help but grip the reader emotionally, whether we know and love someone who has been deployed or not. You describe what you and your family are going through with honesty and insight.

wow, i ussually get like 7-12 bucks, but i dont sell the exclusive rights most of the time, but even then 50 bucks is great congrats :P

How long have you written for AC? Are you a writer by trade or is this just something you've recently started?

I haven't been offered anything close to this amount, so I think you should be very proud! As I noted in an earlier post, I did read your article and liked it very much. I just try and do my best with everything I write there; I don't always get it right according to Associated Content, but I keep trying. I am happy writing and even happier to make money doing it. I was a little disappointed that they have lowered the pay scale somewhat (based on the new formula), but I just keep at it, hoping someday I'll get recognized for that special article.
