Do you really appreciate dignity of labour ?

Here in my place people look down upon people of certain professions like cultivators , barbers , coblers , sweepers , motor mechanic etc . Even this sentiments is profound among the high level officers of Government offices depending on their relative position in the ladder of official hierarchy .
I feel it shamful for the society as a whole .

I believe that any labor profession is honorable and has much dignity as long as it is good honest work! Here in the United States we have in the past looked down on those professions such as garbage man, mechanic, janitors and the like. It is a shame. But for the most part, it isn't so bad here as it is in other countries. People here understand that we all have to make a living and it is not a shame to work hard as long as it is honest. But some people are just snobs and don't understand this way of thinking. I personally feel that if you work hard and are honest, that you deserve much honor and deserve to have your dignity. In my opinion most of these people have more dignity than the higher level hierarchy.
