Does it matter what color you wear in a pageant? Is there a color that you shouldn't wear?

One. Don't wear a colour you don't like and two, don't wear an unflattering coulour to your compextion. Three, don't wear one of those coulours that match your skin tone and make you look naked.

I have always heard that red is not a good color for a pageant but I found one that is beautiful and it looks great on my daughter so what do you think? Have you ever heard that before?

If the colour suits her and she likes it too I'd say go for it. But that's just my opinion.

I agree with another poster, yellow is not usually a flattering color. I've always though blue was a good choice. For some reason pageant officials think someone in blue is pretty as well as intelligent. Pink, on the other hand, shows you are pretty, but not serious or intelligent. It's hard to figure out the psychology of pageant officials.

I think Pageants are so incredibly degrading! I would wear No color to one as I would never participate in one!
