Most of the time, I only steam them along with basic herbs and spices like onions and garlic. I cook them with butter sometimes as well. What about you? Care to share your shrimp recipes?

How I usually cook my shrimp is I will put some oil in a pan. And pan fry them until they are some-what of a golden brown. Or I will also take some large shrimp & in the summer time I will grill them on the BBQ. I find them to be rather delicious both ways that I decide to cook them. I will usually season the shrimp with real garlic or even garlic powder as well. Both me & my other half are really big garlic fans, & it tastes rather yummy when we mix some garlic in with the shrimp. And then serve the shrimp on a bed of noodles with alfredo sauce along with parmesan cheese on top. I have some really amazing shrimp dishes that I love to cook for both me & my other half. And I find them both to die for. I enclosed them below if anyone is interested. Thanks for allowing me to share! xx "The famous: Shrimp Alfredo." Ingredients are as follows: - 16 ounces of tri - color pasta or shell pasta - 16 ounces of frozen cooked shrimp, medium sized, cleaned - 1 jar of alfredo sauce - 10 ounces of frozen peas (optional) - 1/4 of a cup of parmesan cheese or more (whatever you desire) - fresh black pepper - 1 can of mushrooms - 1/2 of a teaspoon of salt (also optional) Directions are as follows: - Cook the pasta according to the instructions on the packaged until al dente. Then add salt so noodles won't stick to bottom. Or use the 1/2 or a teaspoon of salt if desired. Throw the peas in if using three minutes of the pasta cooking, just enough to hear through. - In a skillet fry the shrimp until golden brown. Season however you'd like. Add the mushrooms as well afterwards & fry them until tender. - Drain the pasta, & return to the pot & add the jar of alfredo sauce. - Then stir all of this thoroughly, then add the cheese & stir some more. Then serve & enjoy this yummy dish! This dish can be served with some garlic toast on the side as well if desired! Another recipe that we love around our house is as follows: "Garlic Shrimp Spaghetti." Ingredients are as follows: - 1 package of 8 ounce spaghetti - 2 tablespoons of corn starch - 1/2 of a cup of water - 1 can of chicken broth - 4 garlic cloves, minced - 1/8 of a teaspoon of cayenne pepper - 2 tablespoons of oil - 1 tablespoons of lemon juice Directions are as follows: - Cook the spaghetti according to the package directions. Meanwhile in a bowl, combine the cornstarch, along with the water & the broth until smooth. Then set this aside. - Then in a large skillet, saute the garlic & cayenne together in the oil until tender. - Then stir in the broth mixture & add this to the pain. Bring this to a boil, & cook & stir for 2 minutes or at least until thickened. - Then reduce the heat. And add the shrimp along with the lemon juice & cook this for 2 - 4 minutes or until heated through. - Drain the spaghetti & place the spaghetti in a large bowl. Add the shrimp mixture & toss to coat the noodles. Serve & enjoy this unique, yet yummy dish! . .

I cook both of these dishes quite often. Each pay day my other half seems to want me to make these dishes for us. And it seems each time I end up making these dishes they end up being a big hit! As of recently we ended up just going one pay day without having this dish. But I actually plan on making the shrimp alfredo this week sometime once again. I hope if you end up trying these dishes that you end up liking them.. As much as me & my other half do as they are rather filling.. And it seems we both end up having left overs so my other half will even take them for lunch as well. That's how yummy this dish is for us! Enjoy if you end up trying this dish! All the best of luck! xx Thanks for allowing me to share! xx

I love shrimp. The way I cook it is to put a little olive oil in a frying pan with some minced garlic, cook until pink. Serve over angel hair pasta with parmesan cheese.

Thank you for your response, angel_marie5! I also like putting lots of tomatoes in my shrimp dishes. Love baked shrimps as well! Lots of cheese and herbs and spices --- plus I also like what we call camaron rebosado --- shrimps coated with flour and egg yolk and then deep fried until golden brown. Yum!

A fast easy recipe is to skewer the shrimp with pineapple chunks, sweet onion chunks, bell peppers and any other veggies such as sliced squash. Fast, easy, delicious and healthy!
