It's been running slow for a couple days now. I've run a virus and spyware scan, defragmented, did the disc clean-up, deleted temp. files and it still seems to freeze up. I'll type something in the search bar and the little thing just goes round and round without taking me anywhere most the time. Also, when I look at something on e-bay and then use the back button it won't go back to the previous page/site. I've also done a system restore, I can't think of what else to do. It's a Gateway and just over a year old!

I recently suffered from similar computer issues. One, I'd suggest cleaning your web cache, including cookies. A program that you may also want to try if you are running Windows is Microsoft's One Care. With this program I was able to stop and get rid of a key-logger program that had infected my machine.
Also, you may want to run multiple spyware programs, as I have yet to find one that will rid your computer of every spyware program.
Hope this helps.
