To smokers: do you smoke more when you are talking on the phone?

First of all, I need to mention, that I am a social smoker, meaning, that I don;t even smoke every day. Sometimes, I can spend a week without smoking with no effort at all.
But there are some situations when I am craving for a cigarette and can smoke one after another.
One of them is when I am chatting on the phone with a friend in a relaxed home atmosphere... gossiping, sharing thoughts, you know...
It's amazing, but I just remembered, that my mom used to do the same :-)

I dont smoke but i helped my friends and few of them quit smoking.

i admit im a daily smoker and ive noticed when im chatting away on the phone i smoke an waful lot, i know i shouldn't but it's jsut i don't even realise im doing it, i try to avoid using the phone or use it for a few minutes so i don't smoke as much! :o)
