1. It is organics. No need to use petrochemical fertilizers or guano shipped from another continent. High quality fertilizers can be made available at your home with no effort. 2. It is easy. With very little effort, kitchen waste can be converted into nice life-giving and disease-supressing fertilizers juice and worm-casting planting media. 3. It is fun. If you enjoy growing plants, worms fits in nicely. They require very little attention - but do develop like plants or pets. Looking at how they eat, how they grow, how they behave, etc.

I found plans for a worm farm online using store-bought totes that can be kept in the house. I have a spare room that stays cool thruout the year and keep them in there. My houseplants love it. Any extra I add to my planting holes when I plant my seedlings in the spring garden.

We had opt that in our farm. Under one artificial shade, we have tried to prepare such fertilizer, but got some what less worm population n eggs number too, due to frogs...they have created lote of problems. Finally we closed that unit, because it was demanding to much expenses to build some good area for practice. For kitchen garden its nice...!
