I've never had any troubles or problems with IE7. Our new notebook came with it and I think it's excellent, especially the tabbed browsing. I don't really like Internet Explorer 6 anymore because 7 is just simply better. That is my view and my opinion.

Oh, I definately prefer ie7, especially the tabs. I just didn't like having to reinstall for some applications to work. :)

They're always making advances, but it sure is a pain when you can no longer do, what you used to do, just yesterday. LOL

I have two computers: one with ME and one with XP. I believe ME cannot install IE 7, however I did install it on XP. At first I was liking it a lot, and then the following thing happened: one day I came to a site to take a survey (paid surveys I do with a reliable company) and I was using firefox like I normally do. I opened up IE 7 and nothing happened! It said "Not connected to the internet" when I was and then I tried to open up Opera and it said the same thing! IE 7 messed up Opera browser AND itself. I tried to look for a solution on microsoft.com, but I didn't see anything so I uninstalled IE 7. Now I am happy with IE 6 and I won't be installing IE 7 until the bugs are worked out.
If you want to take the advantages of IE 7 for IE 6 you can use Avant Browser or Slim Browser, look on http://www.download.com to download the software.

I haven't heard of slim browser before. It looks interesting because I really like the tabbed windows in ie7. I'm a bigtime multi-tasker GRIN and usually have 3 to 6 windows open with 2 or 3 tabs in each. It's great for working several sites at once. I also LOVE the zoom feature. It's SO much better than just getting to adjust the text size.
