talking to your child about STD's

I know that this has been a sticky subject for parents but I need to know the answer to this. How do you talk to your child about STD's and what do you think is the appropriate age to do this? I want my children to be aware of this so that they can take preventive measures later in life.

My children do STD calls atleast once in a week. LOL. Okey... Coming back to sexually transmitted deceases, it is better to educate the children after attaining maturity physically. The present medias is so effective, that children will learn everything in advance, before we teach them. Some children are so advanced that they can teach the elders.
