How many of you like to be appreciated? I cetainly feel elated when I am appreciated for my deeds. Do you feel appreciation gives you necessary boost and moral support and emotional upgrading to come out better in your deeds and do you also feel thankful to the person who appreciates you and conveys his regards by appreciating you.

Priti, Thanks very much your wonderful and interesting response. I must appreciate your efforts, because...it was quite an older discussion of mine...yet you attemtpted to reply. I entirely agree with you that 'we need to be appreciated'...otherwise we will not feel motivated and inspired. You know very well that - I always believe in 'appreciating' my friends so that it could boost their moral and could make them happy. It is my pleasure that my comments on your profile ...boost your moral...and you feel great reading that....I firmly believe...this much I can do for my dear friends (to make them happy) and I must not miss an opportunity to motivate them...otherwise...there is no meaning of I being their friend. Have a Nice Day! dpk

I not only like the appreciation when things are done in a manner more than expected and I make it a point to appreciate anyone who lives upto my expectation.

as much as possible I don't want to be appreciated coz I don't know how to say if someone will appreciate me but I want to do good deeds but I don't want to acknowledge my work with others. I'm know It's sounds weird but thats the way I like and feel.

Lyn, Thanks very much your wonderful and interesting response. I must appreciate your efforts, because...it was quite an older discussion of mine...yet you attemtpted to reply. You are a 'modest' person that's why you do not want to be appreciated (publicly). It is a sign of greatness! Keep it up! Have a Nice Day! dpk

Yes, i like to be appreciated, but not always. When i struggle a lot to help others, gather information for them, help them out even if they did'nt ask for, during all these situations i feel that my work needs to be appreciated. I don't think feeling a need to be appreciated can be termed as selfish. Appreciation does inspire us to render more help and service to others who are in need of it. I think everybody should have a heart to appreciate and encourage good deeds happening around. That can only keep the world moving in a peaceful manner.

I think everybody crave to be appreciated in one way or another for it was the sweet reward they can have for thier effort to do something good or nice. When I was appreciated with my works and with my decision the more I was inspired to do more good things and excel in the field I engage in because I believe I'm on the right track of what I was doing.

Being appreciated is truly a high experience...I have received some of them from my boss, who truly appreciates what I have done for our company. I have maintained a selfless service in relation to my job, and I love it. It's because I love my job that makes it easy and fun for me. That's why I also appreciate other people's contribution for the success of our serice to our customers. I believe that we cannot give what we don't have...we need to be appreciated in order to appreciate others, too. Do you believe this too? I do...cheers!
