Peter vs Sylar

As seen in the last episode of heroes, Peter is showing the ability to use multiple powers. We can all agree that Peter is becoming stronger and more responsive with all of these powers, much like Sylar who "steals" all of his powers. I know that in the last episode Peter had his "dark side" moments but I believe he is shaping up to be the only force capable of taking on the only definite "bad guy" in the series: Sylar. Please tell me, am I the only one who thinks Heroes might come down to an epic battle between these two? What do you think will happen?

I think it almost has to come down to the epic battle between Peter and Sylar. They will both be equal in power very soon, especially now that Peter is learning how to control and call his power at will.
I just hope that Sylar doesn't absorb the nuclear power and that it's him against Peter in the nuclear disaster.

Guys, i think peter would only need one power to defeat sylar.
The hatian guy's power. Y'all remember don't you? He can cancel any power if he know how to use that power. Peter can control more than one ability at a time. So, all he need to do is cancel sylar's power and use telekinesis to kill him.

I agree that Peter needs the Hatian's powers. But I also like Peter to absorb Nikki's husbands power. With it, he won't get harmed eventhough he has Claire's regenration abilities. I think Peter is also bullet proof because he had an encounter with Sylar before. He doesn't know it yet that his bullet proof.

Peter can now use the other powers at will too.. if you've noticed in episode no. 16... he attacks Isaac using the powers naturally.. and peter has one natural advantage over sylar.. any powers sylar has while facing Peter, Peter will have too.. but Slar won't have all of Peter's powers.. like regeneration and flying etc. So he'll never be able to get past Peter. Even when he fought Sylar for the first time.. I was wondering why peter didn't kick Sylar's butt.. I knew he had the coolest power.

Actually I am also thinking about that. If and when Peter and Sylar will come face to face, Peter would also have Sylar's power as we all know that Peter adapt to whatever power the person may have so it is very possible. That would be very interesting to watch. Right now, I am hooked to the show. Every time I watch it I want to finish it all. LOL. But then, its a series so there's nothing I can do but wait.

I do think peter is gonna be stronger than sylar...but this show aint over yet and i think there are many surprises to come.who knows maybe there's someone powerful than both of them

i was thinking the same thing, they would be quite evenly match i think. but it does appear that Sylar learns how to control his stolen powers faster. Peter seems to be pretty much bubblin' along until put in a situation where he HAS to do it to save his life.
i wonder if an epic battle between Peter and Sylar is what causes the explosion?

I definately agree with you on that.I truly do believe that it is gonna come down to battle of epic proportions between Peter and Sylar.Peter is becoming so powerful though,it kind freaks me out sometimes!

All I know is that Peter is walking that dangerous road of overpowerism that lead to the Hiro character being completely tone down and becoming a lame powerless human... at least for a time. And the shows are forced to do that, otherwise he will steal everyone's thunder.
