what comes first honeymoon first or marriage first?

Web definition of honeymoon..."a holiday taken by a newly married couple." How can it comes before marriage. We all take wrong meaning of honeymoon. I don't know what exactly u meant by honeymoon, if its physical contact...that's not honeymoon...that's purely physical contact.It can surely come before marriage...lol.

A honeymoon was originally to consimate the marriage. It was the first time the couple got to be intimate with eachother.

i think nowadays honeymoon comes first.people now are engage in pre marital s_x and usually if the girl gets pregnant,that would be the time they are getting married,if not.they will continue on doing so.

I've never heard of a honeymoon first. The honeymoon is right after the marriage...a vacation for the couple to celebrate their recent marrige together.
