I agree, Kim Thayil was a brilliant guitarist. After Soundgarden split in 1997, Thayil went on to play guitar for many other people, including Pigeonhed and Dave Grohl's project 'Probot'. In 2003, Rolling Stone voted him Number 100 in a line-up of the 100 greatest guitarists of all time.

Yeah, you're right... I remember that guitarists chart... I don't know if it was better to have Soundgarden together again or just to remember that great period without touching it with failing reunions.
