Why friendster?

Whats your reason why you picked friendster? Is there something in it? you can join many sites like tagged.com, myspace.com, mylot.com... Why friendster? Is there anything you can do or reason out why you like friendster?

i think it's the most popular site here in the philippines. you can walk into any internet cafe and almost always find someone doing friendster, not so much with the other sites. also, most of the people i rally know are on friendster, i tried other sites and just hooked up with strangers...

Friendster has been a boom in the country since it first started. Almost everybody has their own friendster account. Personally i love it because it keeps me in touch with my old college buddies and other friends who are far away now.

Okay I gotta ask...what the hell is friendster and tagged? I keep hearing about them and my one neice actually has sent me emails to join tagged.com but I've no clue what they are LOL Myspace I have an account and love it and obviously I'm here at MyLot but what are the other two??

Because it is the first socially website that I became a member of and because most of my frinds have an account.

Friendster is designed for gaining friends. The idea is networking, you're friends will probably be connected to someone. Same time, here you can do private messages, blogs, design you page according to your own interest/ satisfaction.
Friendster helped alot in meeting new friends :)
