hi sam! well my daughter had a cough like this when she was around 7 months old, i took her the gp and he gave her amoxocillin and paracetamol liquids and they DID work it cleared after around 5 days time, plus she was being sick and other kinds of things, she was always sleeping too, i suggest you take your little boy back to the doctors get him checked over again and get him more medication, if them medicines don't help there will be another one tha helps that your doctor can prescribe you! take him asap as he could get worse and it's not nice seeing little babies sick, it makes me sad! hope he feels better soon and good luck!

Hope your little guy's condition has cleared up. He looks so sweet in the picture! If the cough hasn't cleared, have him tested for allergies. When my son was little, we went out of my minds with worry because he was always sick with coughs, congested, bad bouts of vomiting and diarrhea. We were always in the hospital with him hooked up to IVs to his little foot (sob!) and forehead. It was dreadful! And it only happened when I had gone back to work and got him on formula. Well, you know what it was? He was allergic to formula! He was subjected to a battery of tests and that was the reason found for all his problems. He had to have Isomil instead and that cleared up the problem. He is now 28 (29 in May) but still lactose intolerant. We're praying for you and your little guy.:-}
