My suggestion is pick one of your interest something that you know about and then write about that. Getting your discussion seen is another story. If you don't already have some you need to get some friends. I choose people that respond in the same discussions that I do and peoples discussions that I respond in and such. Having friend is a good way to get responses. Remember to reply to their discussions when you can contribute to the discussion. After starting a discussion a good thing to do is go and post quality responses in other peoples discussion the higher the quality the more they will check out your profile and find your discussions. Remember to rate your responses and pick a best response, refer to guidelines for rating instructions. Welcome to mylot and I wish you much success her! :)

What I look for in a topic is whether it is thought provoking ,makes me want to think out of the box or excites me.In most cases I try checking my friends pages for discussions they started. When I hate to exert my mind I go with topics from my interest as it's easy to respond to.Truth be told,I am still trying to put together what makes a good topic.I think it's quite subjective and might vary from person to person.

I have to agree to above comments of some friendly respondents. 1. Start an interesting discussion where anyone can relate. 2. An intriguing discussion is also a good discussion to start because their are lots of different comments you will received about a certain topic. 3. I would say that if you will start a discussion you should be able to respond to them. I have started a discussion and I was really amazed that they are interested about it and whats more, I have responded to them. By responding to them, they find my discussion an interesting one. 4. Some guys repeat some discussions that are already started, I dont know if they dont intend to do it though. Hope this helps a little.

Hi kabayan and welcome to myLot! I'm a one month member here and on my first days I really post first and observe what is the flow of the discussion here and what are the discussion that can generate more attention. For me I get most number of respond if the discussion is about myLot, family, relationship, situation tends to seek advice or comments, current events and informative ideas. In able for you to generate more respond you have to build a strong relationship with friends who have the same interest with yours and start a discussion that you really know your friends can really relate and some members around the globe can relate too. Lastly you have to be descriptive on your topic and try to rate every one who respond and select the best response after 1 week or less the moment you see a credible respond because that will earn you a good rating and extra earning as well.

Do not post topics which would make a voting poll.Post topics which would generate more response.Controversial topics are the best ones.
